Here is our weekly Ku-ring-gai Property Update for Monday 3rd December 2018. Anyone like to buy a house for Christmas? Turnover has slowed a little as is typical for December, but perhaps not as much as in past years. Buyers with cash/funding organised remain in a strong position to negotiate as we are still hearing stories about how difficult it is to secure finance. We are meeting a number of buyers who are also frustrated vendors - unable to commit to purchase until they find a buyer for their home. Once they do sell they are usually highly motivated to secure their next property so we may be in for an unseasonably busy Christmas/New Year period, especially if expats returning for the holidays also start to see value in the local market.
