East Lindfield is a leafy and tranquil suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, NSW. It is in close proximity to Chatswood and is also only 13 km from Sydney city CBD. It's neighbouring suburbs are Roseville, Roseville chase, Lindfield and East Killara. Most of the suburb is bounded by the "two creeks" walking track which takes you through a coachwood forrest, offering incredible water views. The track is 3.75km in distance each way and technically begins cnr Slade Ave & Tryon Rd, however this requires you to walk through a storm water tunnel. Alternatively, you can begin the walk cnr Tryon Rd & Eastern Arterial near Lindfield Oval. The track ends at Roseville bridge, however alternatives are available and detailed on the council website.
The suburb has a large community hall which houses a variety of sporting offerings and strip of excellent shops on Hughes Place, including a small IGA, the award winning Butchers delight butchery and a crowd pleasing cafe Deli in the Park.

Transport
Buses service the area to Chatswood, Lindfield train station via Roseville, Milsons Point and Sydney CBD. A trip to the Sydney CBD on the bus takes approximately 30 minutes.
Some residents enjoy a brisk walk to Lindfield train station. The walk is relatively flat via Middle Harbour Road.
